Verify a credential
Check a credential issued by NEI Awarding Body. No account is needed and nothing you enter here is recorded against you.
What this check does
Two separate things, and both have to pass.
-
The signature. The credential is checked against the public key
published at
/.well-known/did.json. That proves the document was issued by NEI Awarding Body and has not been altered since. -
Whether it has been withdrawn. Read from the published revocation
list at
/status/1. A credential can be genuine and withdrawn at the same time, so the two answers are reported separately.
The capability statements shown with a verified credential are the ones an NEI Awarding Body academic reviewer has approved. Statements still in draft are never signed into a credential.
